1. What this notice covers
This notice explains the cookies and similar browser storage (local storage and session storage) that Lysnd LLC uses on lysnd.io. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.
2. Our approach
We keep it minimal. Lysnd uses only first-party storage that is needed to run the app or to remember your choices. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, third-party analytics cookies, or sell anything collected through them. Because of this, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
3. Strictly necessary
Required for sign-in and security. The app cannot work without them.

4. Preferences

5. Third-party services
When you sign in with Google or pay through Stripe, those services may set their own cookies on their own pages to sign you in, prevent fraud and process payment. Those cookies are governed by Google's and Stripe's own policies. Links that open LinkedIn or other external sites are subject to those sites' policies.
6. Analytics and advertising
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability, without placing cookies in your browser. If we ever add analytics or marketing tools, we will update this notice first and ask for consent where the law requires.
7. Managing cookies and storage
You can view, block or clear storage in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Signing out clears your session and project research settings. Clearing strictly necessary storage will sign you out and reset your preferences. It will not delete your account or projects.
8. Changes
We will update this notice when the storage we use changes, and update the effective date above.
